Since a very young age I was teased for knowing I wanted to be a Podiatrist/Chiropodist.
I used love going to my grans house when her podiatrist came to tend to her feet. So in 2004 I started my three year degree at New College Durhams School of Podiatry.
I graduated in 2007 with a BSc hons in podiatry , I am a hcpc registered podiatrist and also a member of the society of chiropodists and podiatrists.
When I qualified in 2007 my first position was in scholl foot clinic based in Harrogate, I then went on to work for Cumbria NHS. In 2009 I decided to move back home and I started working part time for the private company Connect physical health.
Whilst working for connect I started to build up my private patient work. I now work with companies such as ASDA and Tommee Tippee offering a chiropody / podiatry service for there staff. I also have a clinic base at Anne Davidson dental practice and carry out home visits for patients.
Now along side work I have a bit of a hectic life I enjoy running and going to the gym. But most importantly I enjoy spending time with my husband and little girl Amelia who is four years old and keeps me on my toes (pardon the pun) !
